3980cc, automatic. This lovely Jaguar XJS, in 2+2 Convertible format, is currently MoTed until 16th December 2025, and has been on the road almost every year of its life. Being a very late model, first registered on 15th March 1996, makes it one of the desirable Celebration run-out models built to mark Jaguar's 60th anniversary. Power therefore comes from Jaguar's 4.0-litre AJ16 straight-six engine, and its spec includes electric leather seats and mirrors, airbags, diamond-turned alloys and Celebration-specific interior trim. These late models also benefit from a galvanised bodyshell.
The history file amounts to a large collection of receipts for servicing and maintenance, mostly covering the last couple of decades. There is also a driver's handbook, and service book showing 10 stamps including its PDI, the last stamp being at 110,171 miles in 2006. MoT certificates from 1999 to 2023 are also present, along with spare keys and the current V5C, which records 3 previous keepers. It was driven 30 miles to our sale, and the odometer is now reading 134,513 miles.
